Undoubtedly, there has been a large uptake of social media use by legal professionals over recent years. A lawyers brand and reputation are heavily influenced by how they engage in public environments including their use of social media. One ill –judged remark can result in serious ramifications.

A well-planned social media strategy takes a brand to new heights by letting you interact with the public and share information in real-time. Since the rules of the Bar Council of India prohibit law firms from advertising in any manner, you have to be more careful about not directly showing any advertisement on social media. Whenever using social media for enhancing the brand it is important to keep your social media updated consistently. The quote ‘out of sight, out of mind’ holds when social media is considered. While you might get confused about what to share it is best to create a social media planner and strategize your shares well in advance. Maintaining a social media image is very important- you can share your achievements, recent trends in the industry, thought leadership, achievements of the partners and engage with people directly. Content posted on social media can also enhance your searchability on worldwide web.

An active social media presence can create brand awareness amongst the right audience and help in engaging the target audience. You can also connect with like-minded people and create brand awareness among people in the same industry.  While it might seem easy from the far, if you do not come up with a clear marketing strategy – the benefits may be reduced or even not fall into the right space. The right social media strategy can lead you to create compelling content, engage with your customers at the right time and also generate client leads. It is always advisable to come up with social media strategy or contact the experts in the field to manage it for you. It is only advisable that when you try to enhance your social media presence over any channel – Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter or YouTube – relevant content is posted aiming the right audience without flooding your channel with unnecessary posts.

With a wild feeling, he now used his coffin for a sea-chest; and emptying into it his canvas bag of clothes, set them in order there. Many spare hours he spent, in carving the lid.

With all manner of grotesque figures and drawings; and it seemed that hereby he was striving, in his rude way, to copy parts of the twisted tattooing on his body.
